Q. Why did you create this website?
A. I enjoyed programming as a hobby in high school, long before P.C.'s were common.  Basically, I decided to brush up on my skills.  I approach website design as a crossword puzzle.

Q. Your website is a dot.com.  How do you make money?
A. I don't.  It was never my goal to make money on this site.

Q. Is it expensive to have a website?
A. It could be, it depends on how elaborate you want to get.  Hiring someone to design your website can quickly become very costly.  Having your website hosted can run between $4 U.S. dollars and several hundred U.S. dollars per month depending on the webhost.  In other words, define your needs and shop around.

One cautionary note:  Some webhosts are like cellphone companies, offering lots of web space but little bandwidth (transmission level).  You will pay more if your transmission levels are too high (i.e. lots of visitors).   Bandwidth should be at least 500 times more than your actual website size (not allowable web space).

Q. Is this site hosted and/or what does it cost you?
A. This site is hosted by GoDaddy.com.  It is the basic package plus a dedicated I.P. number for a total of $7.90 per month (500MB webspace, 25,000MB bandwidth - this site uses about 5% of both).
